For www.elderassocre.com, they wanted every real estate listing in the MLS (Multiple Listing Service) showing up on their website. Sure, they had previously had the capability to invite a user to search through listings based on an iFrame that lived on their website, but this was different. This required a complete replication of everything on the FlexMLS RETS server to display it on their website, because doing anything other than a local pull of the data wouldn't suit the speed required to display between 30 and 100 listings at a time.
So after some backend work, Elder's got a brand-new listings page that displays every listing from the MLS, categorized and sortable by price or town. It's really a matter of staying at the front of the curve, because there's some other local sites that have this functionality, and without it, it seems you risk people choosing to work with companies that make it appear like they have more listings to show. In reality, that's not entirely true, because everyone can show an MLS listing based on arranging it with the listing office, but this just makes it easier to find one you like and make an appointment to check it out.
Good luck Tom & the crew at Elder & Associates!! www.elderassocre.com
